Tour Safety

Your Safety is Our Priority

At Kampala Walking Tours, we are committed to providing not only the most informative and enjoyable experiences but also the safest. Our guides are trained to prioritise your well-being throughout the tour.

Our Safety Measures Include:

  • Trained Guides: All our guides are knowledgeable in basic First Aid.
  • Small Groups: We keep our groups small to ensure a personal experience and better group management.
  • Clear Communication: You will receive a detailed email or WhatsApp message before your tour with what to expect, what to wear, and where to meet. Our guides will brief you before the tour begins.
  • Preparedness: Our guides carry bottled water, a basic first aid kit, and have a plan for all common situations.
  • Your Comfort: We walk at a comfortable pace and take breaks as needed. Please inform us of any health concerns or mobility issues beforehand so we can best accommodate you.

What You Can Do:

  • Wear comfortable, sturdy shoes for walking.
  • Bring a bottle of water, sun protection (hat, sunscreen), and rain gear depending on the weather.
  • Be mindful of your personal belongings in crowded spaces.
  • Always follow the guide’s instructions for crossing roads and navigating busy areas.

By working together, we can ensure a fantastic and safe experience exploring Kampala!
